Quality Enhancement Plan

What is it?

A Quality Enhancement Plan is a focused look at improvement of some aspect of our College which directly impacts student learning. The plan must be well thought out, carefully designed and should outline a process which enhances student learning at Florida Hospital College of Health Sciences (FHCHS).

Why?

FHCHS strives for excellence in all that it does, and views the QEP as an opportunity to focus on one particular area on student learning. Why now? FHCHS is preparing for a spring 2011 visit from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACS_COC), and the development and implementation of a QEP is an integral part of that preparation.

For more information please reference page 3 of this PDF from SACS.

Focus?

The focus will be one of our seven learning outcomes. These outcomes are Caring, Communication, Critical Thinking, Ethical/Moral, Lifelong Learning, Professional Expertise and Service to the Community. For definitions and more information about these outcomes visit FHCHS Learning Outcomes.

Who?

We need each person who has an interest in what happens at FHCHS to be involved in the selection of the focus for this QEP. You can get involved in this process by going to Survey Monkey and voting on the leaning outcome you feel should be the focus of this QEP.
