My philosophy of healthcare is understanding the brokenness, agony, and hurt that my patients experience. And their desire to transpire into a nirvana that separates reality from fantasy. To explicate this point I’m going to read my original poem titled, “My Nirvana.” Take me to a place where no body knows Where no ones even heard of, where nobody goes Take me to a place where I can be free Where no one will judge or criticize me Take me to a place where I will not fear the issues of life I look around here I want to break away In another day, rising out of the grave The grave in which I lay.
