Ideally, my philosophy of healthcare will parallel my morals and values in life. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. If you can do that, you will remember how it feels to be a patient, you’ll remember how to treat a person, and you’ll remember how to humanize those you deal with instead of treating them as a patient model. Have compassion. Remember you have humanity and always put yourself in your patients shoes.
