"...to truly see each person for the human being that they are and not just another appointment..."
Marjorie Dotson, General Studies Student
TranscriptMy philosophy of healthcare is to light up someones life, if only for a brief moment. Hopefully allowing them to see the light within themselves that will help guide them for their battle. I will keep my ability to truly see each person for the human being that they are and not just another appointment in my day. I will treat each person with an understanding care, no matter the color of their skin, gender, or the decisions they’ve made in the past. I want to always be the person that patients can count on that will not give up until I can find them an answer. I will not let my lack of knowledge in their illness to hinder the search for the answer and I will use every source available to me. I want to be their light at the end of a long winding tunnel of uncertainties.
