Eleven years ago my brother suffered a traumatic brain injury. They told us to give up and pull the plug, because he would most likely end up as a vegetable the rest of this life. I’m happy to tell you that he can walk and talk and is quite a miracle living with us today. We did not give up and neither did he. It took lots of time and hard work to get where he is. He is the main reason why I have chosen the career that I have. I want to instill that same hope in my patients. I want to show them that I am here to help them in any way possible. I love to make people smile and I believe smiling is a contagious ripple effect. I would like to start that ripple effect in as many people as I can. So my philosophy of healthcare is to treat my clients with the love and compassion of Christ, that they may see Him through me. With creativity to produce beneficial solutions to problems and with a sense of caring that includes kindness and giving support, that I might be a bright spot of sunshine in their life while I am caring for them. I am here to help heal their hearts, as well as their physical illness.Updated: April 23, 2013 - 1:56pm - by Yvette Saliba
