After losing my mom and now realizing that I have no parents, I was devastated. The pain was so great that I was shrouded in darkness, and I didn’t think that I would ever see daylight again. Then slowly, I am now seeing some light. And it is with my continued relationship with God and my family that has kept me going. The loss has allowed me to understand the pain that others go through, and be able to show empathy for others. Recently my friend lost her brother, and I was able to understand her pain and offer her what she needed in her time of need, as I had been there myself. If I am able to put myself in others shoes, then I will be able to give them the care and respect that they deserve. Caring is more then saying “I care.” Its about shoeing how you care. Caring is an action and with God as the masterful healer, I will always use HIm as my guideline to caring.
