My philosophy of healthcare is acknowledging that everyone has a background and a story that makes them who they are today and that we need to care for each and every patient like they are our own family, and give them the best care possible. Theres a reason why people act the way they do,and we need to respect what they’ve gone through to allow them to act that way. Even though people don’t show how grateful or thankful they are for what you’ve done, you look past it and know in your heart that they really do appreciate it even if they won’t admit it. We see these patients at their worst in brokenness and we need to be there for them no matter what.Updated: April 23, 2013 - 2:25pm - by Yvette Saliba
