My philosophy of healthcare has taken a long time to form. It took being a patient myself. I remember being in the hospital and being cold every time I was bathed. That was 20 years ago. That memory has made me see and think of my patients in a more personal way. I want them to feel like they’re being heard. I want them to feel like they are important and treatment is about them. I don’t want them to be cold.
