What exactly is my philosophy on healthcare? Well I think, to help others along in their physical, mental, and spiritual healing. I think on earth we as humans get so caught up in the day to day activities and situations, that we forget about people other then ourselves most times. When I was 7 my sister was diagnosed with cancer, and overnight my family’s life changed. The structure I had grew to love was shattered into millions of pieces. Our home on the outside might have looked broken, but it was through the whole ordeal of the entire process that our families became a stronger unit. And we really began our united christian walk in God. I know it may sound crazy, but its one of the best times of my life. As a family we prayed, ate, slept, all in the same space. It was such a great, remarkable moment, and I remember thinking at 7, “wow, I want to be apart of something like this when I grow up.” That was to be apart of a unit that helped someone back on their way or gives them a second chance.Updated: April 23, 2013 - 2:31pm - by Yvette Saliba
