I guess during my time in the healthcare field, my Philosophy of Healthcare has grown with each patient interaction. I have encountered situations which have required patience or empathy, or even strict discipline, but with each encounter I have always felt the need to truly care about the person. The person who is looking right back at you, whether with words, or with a blank stare. These interactions, I’ve found, don’t just occur in hospitals, but they occur every day, in our daily lives. The different types of care each of us need in the blessed universe is something that should not be taken for granted, and most certainly not overlooked. That is my Philosophy of Healthcare.
