My Philosophy of Healthcare revolves around "Truth." I know truth doesn't sound like a healthcare philosophy, but without truth how can you know yourself and your capabilities until you have stripped away the fallacies of what you think are, what you think you should be, and find the truths that may be hidden even from yourself. Some of the things we hide from ourselves can be truly damaging to us and those around us. My truth was hidden from me for around 13 years. This rationalization of the truth gave me a believable lie that broke the natural bond that sits and balances our mind, body, and spirit. I was lied to in the beginning by my parents and found the truth out a year later. The truth hurt worse than the lie ever could. So I hid the truth behind rage and anger until I found a reason--the birth of my daughter, to toss away the emotions I used to disguise my truths and accept the truth for what is--my brother killed himself, and no one did it but him. But through that truth I found the balance and the harmony that was previously missing. Fixing my balances to allow me to give all my all to healthcare. For truth begins in the mind and during the process of identifying the truth the mind, the body, and the spirit are galvanized into one cohesive balanced unit. Without that balance, I feel like we are never truly able to put out a hand of healing THAT EMODIES ALL THAT WE HAVE TO OFFER. THROUGH THIS WE all can gain a true sense of self and others while gaining a confidence and strength of conviction that real truth and the balance it bestows on us all, cus true healing is done by those who are ever vigilant of the truth that is in themselves thereby preventing the rift between their mind, body, and spirit that destroys the balance and may render their hands of healing impotent.
