“My Philosophy of Healthcare. When I was born, I had a major illness called Midgut Volvulus. The doctors told my mom that children with this sickness don’t usually live for long. But with prayer and the grace of God, I am a living miracle. This is the reason why I want to go into healthcare. Doctors helped me when I was broken and helpless and I always had a goal in mind since I was a little girl. God kept me alive for a reason. He made the doctors operate on me and save my life, so it’s time for me to return the favor. I am thankful that I am alive and I can share my story, and by God’s grace I can pursue my dream of becoming a Neonatologist and help save a life too.”Updated: April 12, 2011 - 3:01pm - by Yvette Saliba
