What led me to healthcare wasn’t the money I could make or the people I could meet. It was fascination. I was fascinated with the human body not for the fact that it worked, but that it kept working when it was broken. It’s a miracle to me that life works at all. That fascination drew me to the medical field. If I could call anything of mine a philosophy of healthcare, it was a wish to see the human body return to its working design.
