When will I receive the money?

You may be able to use your grants, scholarships and loans to help pay for your tuition and fees at registration if your file is complete by the financial aid deadlines. If you apply late or close to or at the deadline you probably will need to pay the amount due at registration. If the amount of your aid is greater than your tuition and fees, you will be able to charge your books at the bookstore.

If you register for hours different than what your award was based on, your financial aid may have to be adjusted. Most aid programs require at least half-time status, and a few require full-time status.

Financial aid for the semester is based on the number of credits you are registered for at the end of the drop/add period. At that time, financial aid will be credited to your account if your file is complete. If a credit occurs after Title IV (federal) aid has been disbursed to your account the credit will be issued to the student or parent within fourteen days.
