The second step in the process is admission to a professional program. Once an applicant is admitted to General College with Regular or Early acceptance status, he or she may be considered for admission to a program.
Each degree program or certificate program has admission requirements beyond those for General College Admission. These are listed in each program section of the Academic Bulletin as well as in their respective section of the academic site. Once all requirements have been satisfied, the applicant’s file is considered complete and will be taken to the appropriate program admission committee for consideration. It is the applicant’s responsibility to complete the application process by the appropriate program deadline.
Once a student has been enrolled at FHCHS for one trimester, he or she is required to submit an FHCHS Recommendation from a professor, chaplain, or tutoring coordinator when applying to an on-campus program. Forms are available in the Office of Enrollment Services.
The program admission committee begins reviewing completed files by the program admission deadlines listed. Spaces are limited; please complete your file by the deadline to ensure review. Admission into all professional programs is competitive. Selection for admission is based on the most qualified applicants; preference may be given to students who have successfully completed 12 college-level hours at FHCHS.
