This course focuses on the application of contemporary leadership and management principles in the current healthcare environment. The student will explore the concepts of power, conflict, negotiation, and change in organizations. The student will have the opportunity to observe and analyze the function of managers and healthcare executives. This course includes 2.5 credit hours of theory (37 clock-hours) and 0.5 credit hours of clinical (23 clock-hours).
