A successful applicant for admission to the Nuclear Medicine Technology Program must meet the general requirements for admission to FHCHS (see General College Admission in the Admissions Information section) and:
- Have a minimum cumulative high school unweighted GPA of 2.70 or have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.70 on 12 or more credit hours of college level work from a regionally accredited institution.
- Have a minimum ACT composite score of 19 with an individual score of 19 in math. Applicants with 24 or more credits from a regionally accredited college are exempt from taking the ACT.
- Submit three recommendations using FHCHS recommendation forms. Recommendations submitted at the time of initial application to the College will meet this requirement for new FHCHS students.* Students who have attended FHCHS for at least one trimester must submit one of the recommendations from a full-time Pre-Professional faculty member.
- Submit an essay explaining the applicant’s interest in becoming a Nuclear Medicine Technologist and reasons for selecting FHCHS.
* Recommendation forms expire after three years of receipt by the Office of Enrollment Services.
