To be eligible for the Pell Grant, one must demonstrate substantial financial need. One may apply by completing the FAFSA form. Forms are available online at www.fafsa.ed.gov, or by calling 1-800-433-3243. Notification of eligibility is sent to the student from the processing agency and the Financial Aid Office. The amount of the award ($400 - $4,050) is based on the determination of eligibility and the cost of attendance at the college of the student’s choice. The Financial Aid Office will notify the student when the dollars have been credited to the student’s account. To see when the dollars have been credited, the student may look online at my.FHCHS.edu, MARS (My Academic Resource System).
