The ACG is given to a first or second year student in a two or four year degree program who is a U.S. citizen, is a Federal Pell Grant recipient, is enrolled full time, and has completed a rigorous high school program of study after January 1, 2005. To receive the grant for a second academic year the student must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.00 at the end of the spring trimester. The amount of the award for the first year is $750 and for a second year is $1,300.
