The Pass (P) grade receives academic credit but no quality points, while a No Pass (NP) grade receives neither credit nor quality points. The “P”/“NP” notation does not affect a student’s grade point average. For courses that receive a “P” or “NP” as a final grade, a “P” is designated as equivalent to a minimum the grade of “C”.
