Graduation

Associate of Science and Bachelor of Science degrees, and certificates are conferred three times a year at the end of each trimester. Graduation ceremonies are held at the end of the spring trimester.

Graduation applications are available online under the Records tab of the my.FHCHS.edu website. Students anticipating completion of degree requirements must file this form in the Office of the Registrar by the date indicated on the form.

All degree candidates are encouraged to participate in the graduation ceremonies. A graduation fee will be assessed the last trimester students are in attendance before completing their degree requirements. (See Fee Schedule in the Financial Information section.)

Students completing degree requirements at the end of the fall trimester may participate in the graduation ceremonies following the spring trimester.

  3. If the student fails to complete degree requirements by the end of the summer trimester, a fee equal to 50% of the current graduation fee will be assessed to cover additional processing costs.
  4. The spring graduation printed program will list the student as “pending completion of program requirements.”
  5. The student will not be eligible to participate in any other graduation ceremony for conferral of the same degree.
  6. Students may graduate with a double major. Refer to the Double Major Policy in the Academic Information section.
  7. Incomplete, deferred and missing grades must be resolved before the degree can be conferred.
