A student’s academic classification is based on the number of credits earned up through the current trimester.
Freshman Students are classified as freshmen when they have satisfied general admission requirements and have completed up to 30 college credits. Freshmen are limited to lower division courses except when granted permission by the chair of the department in which the course is being taught.
Sophomore Students are classified as sophomores when they have completed a minimum of 31 college credits.
Junior Students are classified as juniors when they have completed a minimum of 62 college credits and have been accepted to a baccalaureate degree program at FHCHS.
Senior Students are classified as seniors when they have completed a minimum of 93 college credits and have been accepted to a baccalaureate degree program at FHCHS.
Certificate Certificate students are non-degree-seeking students enrolled in a certificate program.
