To be accepted into the Bachelor of Science degree, a student must meet the general requirements for admission into FHCHS (see General College Admission in the Admissions Information section) and:
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.70 from high school or on at least 12 trimester hours of college work from a regionally accredited institution. Students who have transferred from another institution to FHCHS with a GPA less than 2.70 will be considered for admission when they have accomplished a minimum GPA of 2.70 on at least 12 hours during one trimester at FHCHS.
- Submit American College Test (ACT) or Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) scores. Scores will be used for placement and not to determine program admission. Applicants having achieved 24 or more college credits from a regionally accredited college are exempt from submitting ACT or SAT test scores.
- Two recommendations on FHCHS forms. If an applicant to an undergraduate program has completed 12 college-level credits at FHCHS before being admitted to a program, one of the two recommendations must come from a professor, academic coach, advisor, tutoring coordinator, or chaplain. Special recommendation forms for this requirement are available in the Office of Enrollment Services.
