Students may progress in the Program provided they:
- Have received a minimum grade of “C” (2.00) in each Nuclear Medicine Technology course.
- Have received a minimum grade of “C” (2.00) in each of the following cognate courses: Anatomy and Physiology I, Anatomy and Physiology II, Principles of Chemistry, College Algebra, Introduction to Statistics, and Survey of Physics.
- Successfully repeat courses in which the minimum grade is not achieved. No more than two courses may be repeated, and only one of these may be a Nuclear Medicine Technology course.
- Present annual verification of tuberculosis screening. If the test is positive, refer to the Communicable Disease Policy in the Student Handbook for more information. Have updated immunizations including hepatitis B, and have proof of health insurance. Verify current certification in professional cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) from the American Red Cross or the American Heart Association including infant, child and adult CPR .
Students who do not meet the requirements will be dropped from the Program.
