To be accepted into the Bachelor of Science degree, a student must meet the general requirements for admission into ADU (see General College Admission in the Admissions Information section) and:

  1. A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.70 from high school or on at least 12 trimester hours of college work from a regionally accredited institution. Students who have transferred from another institution to ADU with a GPA less than 2.70 will be considered for admission when they have accomplished a minimum GPA of 2.70 on at least 12 hours during one trimester at ADU.
  2. Submit American College Test (ACT) or Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) scores. Scores will be used for placement and not to determine program admission. Applicants having achieved 24 or more college credits from a regionally accredited college are exempt from submitting ACT or SAT test scores.
  3. Submit two recommendations on ADU recommendation forms. Recommendations submitted at the time of initial application to the College will meet this requirement for current ADU students.1 Students who have attended ADUfor at least one trimester must submit an additional recommendation from; any ADU faculty member, adjunct professor, tutoring coordinator, or chaplain.
