Any student called to active duty from the reserves of any branch of the military or the National Guard will receive special consideration from the University to ensure a smooth transition. Students should notify the department chair and submit a copy of the military orders. The length of service should be defined when possible. A full refund of tuition and fees for the current trimester will be granted.
Upon returning to the University, the student should provide documentation that he or she has been released from active duty. He or she must meet with the department chair to outline a new curriculum plan based on individualized learning needs and the length of time required to complete the program.
