In order to help prevent defaults, ADU offers entrance and exit loan counseling to explain the rights and responsibilities of a student borrower. Students who have disputes or problems with their loans may contact the Student Financial Assistance Ombudsman for help at 1-877-557-2578 or http://ombudsman.ed.gov or Office of the Ombudsman, Student Financial Assistance, U.S. Department of Education, Rm. 3012, ROB #3, 7th and D Streets SW, Washington, DC 20202-5144.
