In order to receive academic accommodations, students must provide documentation of a disability and meet specific requirements. Generally, it is recommended that students registered with the Office for Students with Disabilities that want accommodations submit their formal request one week in advance. It is also recommended that students requesting an accommodation for the first time allow two weeks processing time. Some accommodations need more time to be processed and/or have specific guidelines. These outlined steps will help ensure timely receipt of services that take detailed coordination.
