Jenny Ousley, '10, was accepted to Meharry Medical College School of Medicine in Nashville, Tenn.
Jackie Johnson, '09, graduated from Benedictine University with a Master of Nursing in August 2011. She says, "The program at FHCHS prepared me for the MSN program in many aspects of online learning and nursing science."
Debbie Fine, '10, recently passed the CCRN exam and was accepted into the Family Nurse Practitioner Program at Southern Adventist University. She will begin her studies there fall 2011.
Veronica Davis, '06, recently became the Nurse Manager at Florida Hospital Orlando's Orthopedic Unit.
Christopher Lee McLaughlin, '08, completed a Master's of Nurse Anesthesia at the University of Pittsburgh and is happily working at the University of Washington Medical Center.
Elizabeth Roman, '07, completed a Master's of Education at St. Joseph's College in Maine. "It was FHCHS who influenced me to attend a religious-oriented school," she says. "I had such a great experience at FHCHS and made lifelong friends. Although I don't think I can ever duplicate the friendship and camaraderie that the FHCHS faculty offers, I will always treasure the experience." In September 2011, Roman will begin working toward a Doctorate of Healing Sciences at Nova University in Ft. Lauderdale.
Suzy Shortt-Tucker, '08, will complete an MSN/FNP at the University of Cincinnati on Sept. 1, 2011. "I couldn't have done all of this without my BSN from FHCHS," she says. "Thank you!"
Jennifer Kurnal-Herring, '07 and '08, recently acquired what she calls her dream job teaching in the Department of Diagnostic Medical Sonography at FHCHS. "I'm so very blessed to be a part of the FHCHS family," she says. "I've dreamt of using my education background with my sonography background to have the best of both worlds."
Rennee Holly-Eberhard, '07, lives in Western New York where she is a director of nursing for Catholic Health. She oversees 160 beds of rehab and long term care. "I love my job and appreciate the education I received while obtaining my BSN at FHCHS," she says.
