Social Activities Round out the FHCHS Student Experience
“L is for the way you look at me…” was merely one of the lyrics that rang through the halls of the Campus Center just days ago.
Recently, the Student Services Department hosted the first FHCHS Valentine’s Day karaoke party in the Student Lounge. For a few hours, participants were able to take a break, enjoy savory treats, prizes, and entertainment provided by FHC’s finest. Songs ranging from recent hits to golden oldies kept students on the edge of their seats as they anticipated which peers would be next to sing. Some belted with diva-like style; others squawked and laughed his or her way through each chorus. All were triumphant in braving the microphone.
Radiography Program Participates in Accreditation Process
Recently, representatives from the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) conducted a site visit on the FHCHS campus to evaluate the A.S. Radiography Program for accreditation. The JRCERT is the only agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education for the accreditation of traditional and distance education programs in Radiography. Accreditation through the JRCERT is an elective process and one that is held in high esteem and speaks of a program’s desire to be recognized by peer review for providing high quality education.

FHCHS Partners with ShareHim and The Quiet Hour
Each year, ShareHim and The Quiet Hour take hundreds of students from more than 25 colleges and university to share the gospel around the world. These students come from a variety of backgrounds and are pursuing various fields of study. You can imagine that this is a life-changing experience for many of these students.
Perhaps this life-changing experience is best illustrated by Vanessa’s story. Vanessa, a nursing student at FHCHS, participated with Chaplain Reynold Acosta and six other FHCHS students during their summer break in the country of El Salvador. With encouragement from a close friend, Vanessa signed up to go on this trip.
